In Las Vegas fand vom 3. bis zum 5. Februar 2015 die D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit 2015 statt. Letzte Nacht wurden in diesem Rahmen auch die diesjährigen D.I.C.E. Awards verliehen.
Dragon Age: Inquisition wurde von der Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences zum Spiel des Jahres gewählt und tritt damit die Nachfolge von The Last of Us an, welches diese Auszeichnung letztes Jahr ergatterte.
Das erfolgreichste Spiel des Abends war jedoch ein anderes. Das Action-Adventure Mittelerde: Mordors Schatten von Entwickler Monolith räumte gleich acht Auszeichnungen ab.
